How Can I Be Sure it's Safe to Return to HeartSong?
The safety and well-being of our students and staff is driving every decision we make!
The entire studio has been thoroughly deep-cleaned and all surfaces sanitized prior to reopening. It will continue to be sanitized daily, and will be thoroughly deep-cleaned on a regular basis following state guidelines and using CDC recommended products.
High-touch areas, including the classroom floor, restroom, light switches and door handles, will be sanitized before and after every class.
Class size will be limited to a maximum of 10 students to allow appropriate distancing. We have provided for 6 feet distance between mats, measuring edge to edge.
Students are asked to self-monitor and take their temperature before coming to the studio. Anyone who feels unwell, has been exposed to COVID-19, or has an elevated temperature (100.4 or above), should stay home.
Masks are required in all areas of the studio except the main classroom. Students and instructors are permitted to remove their masks once they are on their mats ready for class.
The studio will no longer provide mats or props. The water dispenser in the lobby is unavailable until further notice.
Overhead fans will not be in use. Doors and windows will be open, weather permitting, and the air conditioning system will be in use with an enhanced filter.
What Do I need to know before my first class?
Self-monitor and take your temperature before coming to the studio. If you feel unwell, have been exposed to COVID-19, or have an elevated temperature (100.4 or above), please do not come to class.
Please purchase your class pass and register for class through our website or through the MindBody app. If you do not have a credit/debit card on file and wish to purchase a pass in the studio, you may be asked to read your card information to the staff member checking you out, to help avoid contact contamination. NO CASH OR CHECK TRANSACTIONS.
We have updated our waiver. Prior to attending your first class, you will be required to sign this waiver, either as you register online, or when you check in. No one is permitted to take a class without a new signed waiver on file.
Class size will be limited to a maximum of 10 students to allow appropriate distancing. Please register in advance. Walk-ins will be allowed only if space permits.
If you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, please cancel at least 2 hours in advance of the class. Since class sizes are restricted, this will enable us to another student to attend. Failure to cancel within the 2 hour period will result in your pass being charged for the class.
There is 6 feet distance between mats, edge to edge, with all mats against a wall. Yellow tape on the baseboards will guide your mat placement. Center the short end of your mat on the tape.
Masks are required in all areas of the studio except the main classroom. You may remove your mask, if you wish, once you are on your mat and ready for class. If you leave your mat for any reason, put your mask back on.
The Boutique is temporarily off-limits to everyone but staff. If you wish to see or purchase a Boutique item, please ask for assistance.
What Should I Bring to Class?
Bring your own mat, props (minimum recommended – 2 blocks and a strap), and water. The studio will no longer provide mats or props. The water dispenser in the lobby is unavailable until further notice.
Please limit the personal belongings you bring into the studio (jacket, purse, keys). Store all personal belongings not required for class in the classroom cubbies. The cubbies will be sanitized after each use.
How Do I Safely Enter and Exit the Studio?
Do not enter the studio until approximately 10 minutes prior to your class. Please remain in your car until you see the “Open” sign turned.
Wear your mask and enter the studio one at a time, with appropriate distancing. Maintain at least 6 feet between yourself and others in the studio at all times. The floor has been taped to assist you.
Leave your shoes in the entryway.
Sanitize your hands upon entering the studio.
Enter the classroom through the front classroom door (nearest the restroom). Signage will guide you.
After class, wear your mask, collect your belongings, and exit the classroom through the rear classroom door. Remember to practice social distancing.
Sanitize your hands as you exit the classroom.
Follow the taped path for shoe collection and exiting the studio. You may use the seating in the lobby if needed to put on your shoes, but no more than 2 individuals may be in the lobby at the same time.
All students and instructors must exit the studio immediately after class to allow for cleaning and sanitizing. If you wish to speak with your instructor or other students, please exit the studio and speak outside.
What About My Class Pass?
All VIP passes were paused in March when the studio closed. Those passes will resume as of June 5th. If you have a pandemic-related reason that your pass should not resume, please contact us at Customer_Service@HeartSongYogaStudio.com.
5-class and 10-class passes were extended by 3 months (from their expiration date) to avoid expiration during the time the studio was closed. Please go to your online account to familiarize yourself with your new expiration date. No further extensions will be granted on currently-active passes.
2-week New Student passes that were unexpired at the time of closing will be honored. The expiration date will be adjusted when you check in for your first return class.
We will do everything we can to reasonably accommodate students' needs, but we are unable to offer refunds at this time.
Because we need more time between classes for sanitizing, the schedule has been scaled back.
While the schedule has changed for the time-being, there is still generally something for everyone both morning and evening during the week. Weekend classes are morning only.
Classes that require heavy use of props (Simple Sunday, Movement & Meditation) have been temporarily discontinued for the summer months.
Your favorite instructors are still here and they are anxious to see you again!
Thank You for Your Support! We Can't Wait to See You!
